Crosslinking update

Hi all,

I just had a quick question, is everything ok with cross linking, there was a post at kcfreedom.org from a Russian guy who is saying that he was told that 10-15 percent progressed after Crosslinking at Dresden (I think he heard of this by email). I think its just "jumping to conclusions" by this poster ! It must be in a scientific study before conclusions can be made !

I know there is a limit to any treatment and crosslinking (too thin cornea, extreme KC etc) that is ok, as only god can cure all.

The main reason for Crosslinking is to stop the progression to a transplant as much as its possible to do so when it was not possible before. Progression to a transplant being the main thing. I think the track record of this is great and has not be matched by any other treatment to date. (But of course an out-side influence like friction of a hard lens is hard to stop if its not fitted correctly)
